This is a great idea for e ordering.

I ordered one of these after my birthday when my mom who couldn't remember the name of the site, simply purchased a visa giftcard instead. I used that giftcard to buy a gift certificate to midwest.

for some reason the confirmation email for the order, and the email with the gift certificate information never ever came through. But I emailed Midwest, and they had responded to my email, with the gift certificate number extremely quickly and i was able to use it with no problem. That batch of beer is currently conditioning in my beer fridge, should be ready in 2 weeks. :)

What home brewer wouldn't want a gift card for Midwest? It's a no brainer if you're looking to buy a gift for a home brewer, this is it.

Great for Christmas gifts

I gave one of these to a friend and he was excited! There are so many beer kits to chose from I wasn't sure what kind he wanted. Plus I wasn't sure what yeast to get. It was cool how quick the gift card got to him too. Pretty sweet!

I took advantage of the 'buy a $110 gift card for $100' deal during the black Friday period. Don't know if it's still going on but it worked the way it was advertised. I just wish I could use my rewards points towards gift cards also.

This was a good deal when you could order a $110 gift card for $100. It was a good way to set aside a brewing budget for the holidays and to get a friend introduced to brewing. Hopefully they run this promo again. I think this promo still runs through xmas.
