Midwest Sweet Mead

Mead was probably the first alcoholic beverage known on this planet. Known as the drink of the gods, Sweet meads have a sweeter body and finish. Sparkling sweet mead is a nice alternative to Spumante Mead, is easy to brew and definitely worth the 4 to 12 month wait. Your patience is rewarded with a beverage ranging from 10-15% in alcohol content. Two stage fermentation required. Our ingredients for this recipe include 12 pounds of Minnesota Clover honey, priming sugar, Yeast nutrient, and yeast.
