Partial Mash Mild Brown Ale

I just bottled it, and the sip I took was pretty good. The Munich malt gives it a nice and different taste form the traditional American 2 row.
It's a little harder to make than a regular extract kit, or even a Partial mash kit, because it comes with 5 pounds of grain to be mashed. A good kit overall.

After reading the Classic Beer Mild Ale book I was interested in brewing a beer in that style and this kit was what I was looking for. Its mild, with a nice taste and good head retention (from the Carapils). It's a session beer and we can drink quite a few of these. For extract brewers who want to expand their skill, give this kit a try. The partial mashing is something new for you, and the beer is pretty good.
