Cleans my equipment Review by Koosman

(Posted on 3/20/14)

Product Rating:

It removes every last bit of stuff thats stuck to my equipment, even the small specs i miss. To get the most out of it I clean my pots, then use that mixture on my fermentors and other equipment. No infections in years of brewing.

I even cleaned my wifes tea pot, turning it from a brown mess into a new looking pot.

Does the job Review by Nick

Product Rating:

It does what it's advertised to do. I use it on my brew kettle. I recently got a refurbished corny keg and use this to clean it out. It did an excellent job. PBW cleans, I don't know what else to say about it.

Product Rating:

This is the best clean I have used. Works well for beer lines, stubborn carboys, and makes grime come right out of kegs. Fantastic product

Product Rating:

I love the PBW to take off beer lables from bottles; I put a 1/4 cup into the bathtub fill it with warm water and in the morning all the labels have off and I just wipe them clean. I also put a few spoons into a dirty carboy with warm water, next morning the sediment has been disolved! I dont need try and scrap the bottle clean with the wire carboy brush! Great solution for homebrew!

Product Rating:

This will loosen up even the hardest gunk left in your fermenters. I just almost all equipment in PBW, rinse it off and leave till brew day. On brew day I sanitize with StarSan and I'm good to go.

Good cleaner Review by Anthony

Product Rating:

It dissolves everything, and is perfect for carboys, just let it soak over night, just don't make the water too hot. I also use it for cleaning old beer bottles I am given. Be careful with plastic since it's caustic and can degrade them.

The Best Review by Trev

Product Rating:

By far the best cleaner out there and the only cleaner I use now after a couple infections which probably could have been avoided if I just spent the extra money. You really do get what you pay for.

It cleans everything! Review by Taiters

Product Rating:

Some people think it's too expensive and use oxyclean but PBW is easily worth it. Soak your fermenters with this stuff and you won't hardly ever have to scrub. Kettles are left shiny and clean; works for cleaning out beer lines for your kegs really well too. Speaking of kegs: just drop a teaspoon of PBW into a gallon of hot water inside your keg, seal the lid and shake it up for several minutes and the inside will look brand new.

Cleans Brewpots fast Review by William

(Posted on 12/28/13)

Product Rating:

No only does it clean my brewpot and sight gauge, I put my wifes pots inside my brew pot and clean everything. I use an ounce per gallon, fill up 5 gallons, and tilt the pot so the sight gauge is submerged.. After my brew pot is cleaned I let my buckets and better bottles get a 10 minute soak each. PBW is not good for plastics so I limit the exposure time.

Product Rating:

Great for stainless steel. It takes off all buildup off of everything, just use heat and time. But don't let it sit in Better bottles more than an hour. Long term soaking will damage them.
