Plastic Spring Tip Bottle Filler

I like this much better than the filler from the kit. I had the plastic tip jam on me a couple times during bottling and that can make a mess. This one is much better for bottling because it is precise. It starts and stops when you want it to. However, since you have to hold it pressed down in place, it is a little harder to start a siphon with. For siphoning to a secondary, I use the plastic tip filler because you can start the siphon and walk away. For bottling, this is the better filler.

Easy to control, and they're right - when a 12oz or 750ml bottle is full, removing the filler will leave you with perfect headspace - I've used it for both sizes. I've bottled without one, and it's much more of a challenging chore. Easily worth the few bucks they cost.

I don't use it (or any filler) for syphoning to a secondary, but there's a trick to starting the siphon and using this. Start the siphon first, use the hose clamp to stop the flow, and then attach this to your hose.

Used this last night and it worked GREAT. I never bothered to try the one that comes with the kit and am glad I bought this one instead due to the spring and more solid on/off when filling bottles. 12oz and 22oz bottles both filled perfectly.

Used this filler for the first time today. Way better than the gravity./pressure closing filler. No excessive dripping positively closes each time.

I use gravity to transfer my beer. So an elevated shelf for your priming tank is necessary to use this bottle filler. For me, that's not a problem. I love this bottle filler. It is simple and effective. I definitely recommend and will definitely buy again.

I already had the Fermtech gravitytip bottle filler, but I wanted a little more precise control and less dribbling after withdrawing the wand from bottles. The springtip fit the bill and has worked like a charm.

The bottle filler that came with the kit would stick open once in a while causing quite a mess. Used the spring loaded bottle filler and no problems at all. Because I could feel the resistance of the spring i could even fine-tune with very small amounts - adding just a touch more to the bottle after foam dissipated. Can't believe it's the same price as the inferior gravity activated model. The slight taper at the hose end was a nice touch too - made connecting the filler to the hose a little easier.

For a few dollars, this is a no-brainer addition to your bottling day arsenal. It leaves the perfect amount of headspace in the bottle when you fill it to the top and remove the bottle filler. Makes it way easier than having to guess and check. After filling a few hundred bottles with it, I have noticed some small drips coming from it when I'm not filling but the spring might be getting worn out. Still not going to complain after the headaches this has saved me. Great value.

Since I bought this bottle filler, I will never go back to bottleing without one! Save the mess, and the time by spending the few bucks on this item. I promise you won't regret it!

This little guy is a MUST have if you are bottling. The on/off functionality with just a little pressure on the bottom of your bottle will save you from the accidental spill. Don't let your prized beer end up all over the floor, add one of these to your beer/wine making tools today!
