Great base, mix this with Rhubarb and you will have a lively, light, blush that will turn heads and make people smile on first sip... I wouldn't necessarily follow the can instructions verbatim - use as more of a guide - and grab a good wine making paperback.

Very light flavor

I fermented up a 3 gallon batch with Montrachet.
It came out slightly pink with a very light flavor. Very much like a lightly flavored tea.
Tasty but not what I was looking for.
I can see it being blended with something with a sharper but not overpowering flavor.

Each on of these fruit cans has 96oz(6lb) really thats not enough fruit for even a 3gallon. You should use at least 5lb of fruit per gallon of wine. These make some pretty tasty product if you use 1can per gallon

I used an entire can to make one gallon of plum wine, it was delicious. I will be buying this again to make another gallon next year.
This is an excellent base, but you have to know your ingredients. Plums require more cans than some other fruits to avoid a thin tasting wine. I typically use 4-6 pounds of plums per gallon
Don't be surprised if you make 3 gallons with one can that it comes out thin.
