These are the highest quality quick disconnects available at such a reasonable price. Constructed of food-grade polysulfone, they can withstand temperatures up to 250°F. Since they are not metal, like other quick disconnects, they can be touched with bare hands without fear of being burned, even after transferring hot wort. These Quick Disconnects are available in four configurations: garden hose size, 3/8" barb, 1/2" barb, or 1/2" NPT. Simply match up the male and female parts that correspond to your brewery's needs.
The 1/2" Male NPT Adapter threads into any 1/2" female fitting. It replaces the barb in Kewler and Weld-B-Gone kits.
