Better than any commercial mist type wine

Good chilled in the summer - easier than making sangria! The pomegranate blends well with the zinfandel. I had people begging for another bottle.

Only bad thing I can say about this wine, the bottom of the bottle comes too soon! Made a batch to take to a family reunion, and didn't take any home!

This was a great mix. Took it to a party the day after I bottled it and people accused me of buying it! It was perfectly clear after racking and filtering and has an exceptionally smooth finish.

Great for the wine drinker or not, much better than a wine cooler but good for us who don't like a dry red wine.

Add about 6 pounds of sugar and use 1/2 of F pack and you have a great wine.

I brew plenty but decided to make a wine to give out as holiday gifts. I don't usually like wine, but this one ended up being delicious. Its sweet, almost dessert-like, and the pomegranate is a great flavor. All the people who got it as a present are asking for more.
I did add some corn sugar during the first step to bump up the alcohol. I don't think it would have been as good if the abv was lower.

Excellant when alcohol increased.

Added about 6 pounds of sugar and used 3/4 of F pack. Excellent balance and not overly sweat. By far the best Island Mist product I have used.

Too sweet

Tried this as my first foray into kit wines. Made it exactly as directed. I realize that it is described as a sweet wine, but it is too sweet for my tastes. Perhaps the reviewers using 1/2-3/4 F pack had the right idea.

This was an excellent first wine kit to ferment. We bottled earlier this week and the wine is excellent. My wife and I are not big wine drinkers, but this sweet fruit forward wine is an easy way to break into home wine making. We added 2.5 lbs of table sugar to the primary to bring the SG to 1.070. The final gravity before f pack was 0.993. We are very pleased with the results and will likely make this kit again after we try a few others.
