Our small French oak barrels use selected premium French oak from central France. Staves are air-dried for 24 months. Hand crafted by skilled French coopers in traditional method. Sweet, toasted almond and caramel flavors are the result of air-dried oak toasted on open fire. No green-wood or aggressive oak overtones associated with small barrels made of American kiln-dried, non-toasted barrels. |
