This package will keep your liquid yeasts cold for 2-3 days after leaving Midwest. If your shipping times are longer than 3-4 days you may consider placing an order for yeast only and having it shipped 2-day express (Shipping prices range from approximately $12.50 to zone 2 to $22.00 for zone 7 for 2 day shipping). Just place your order online for the yeast only and mention in the special instructions field that you'd like 2-day shipping and we'll take care of it. Two-day shipments will leave our store Mondays through Wednesdays only.
As always, Midwest recommends making a yeast starter with liquid yeast. Even packages that have experienced prolonged exposure to high shipping temps can be revived if a properly aerated yeast starter is made. Other insulated shipping container options coming soon.
