This regular strength Trappist Ale is easy to brew and a pleasure to drink. Yeast cultured from a bottle of Chimay will perfect this recipe. Wyeast recommended for best results. Our ingredients for this recipe include: 6 lb. Pilsen liquid malt extract, 1 lb. Clear Belgian candi sugar, 8 oz. Caramel 40°L, 8 oz. Carapils specialty grains, 2 oz. Hallertau, 1 oz. Styrian Goldings pellet hops, yeast, priming sugar, and a grain bag.

Minnesota Clover Honey, 8 oz. Carapils specialty grains, 1 oz. Hallertau, 1 oz. Hallertau Select pellet hops, 1 oz. crushed Coriander, .5 oz. sweet Orange Peel, yeast, priming sugar and a grain bag.

Belgian Clear candi sugar, 8 oz. Caravienne, 4 oz. Aromatic malt specialty grains, 2 oz. Styrian Goldings, 1 oz. Willamette pellet hops, 1 oz. Sweet Orange peel, grain bag, priming sugar and yeast.
**Due to the amount of fermentable sugars it is strongly recommended to leave in secondary fermenter for 9-12 months to allow flavors to properly blend.

This package will keep your liquid yeasts cold for 2-3 days after leaving Midwest. As always, Midwest recommends making a yeast starter with liquid yeast. Even packages that have experienced prolonged exposure to high shipping temps can be revived if a properly aerated yeast starter is made. Other insulated shipping container options coming soon.
