After using this burner for an extract kit, I can't believe how reasonably priced it is. I didn't expect the quality to be so high. It is sturdy and easily worked with the propane tank on my bbq. Heat and boil times were good. We used it indoors with a big door open. Will be used outdoors and indoors (with good ventilation.) I'd highly recommend this burner for similar uses.

This burner is reasonably priced and works well. I use a 32 quart kettle and make a 5 gallon batch, and has heat to boil for 60 minutes.

I am very happy with this! It's made in the USA and if something wears out you can get replacement parts for it. I had my propane valve 1/4 open and was able to get a nice rolling boil in a reasonable amount of time. (outside on a 30 degree day) I would recommend this to anyone.

The one thing not mentioned yet is the height of this burner allows gravity transfer through a plate chiller directly to your fermenter. No lifting of a boiling hot pot.

Great quality and nice height.

The bayou classic burner is a great propane burner. It stands taller than normal outdoor burners which helps in the boiling process, keeping it higher off the ground. Burns even and is reliable.

These burners are probably the greatest addition to any home brewer's arsenal. Keeps the smells outside and gives you a reason to hang out in the garage!

Bought this burner and couldn't be happier. Easily adjustable flame lets you keep the water/wort at a steady temperature, and brought our wort to a boil very quickly. Very sturdy and easy to use. Used outside in wind with no issues.
Note: The first time you use the burner, the paint on the burner that the flame touches will give off a weird smell, but it burns off quickly and then is fine. Still love it and would recommend it to anyone.

It does a good job, and is reasonably priced.
Take care of it (don't leave it in the rain) and it will last a long time.
Its tall so you can use gravity to drain the wort.

I used to brew using the burners on my stove. This burner blows away my stove top burners. I used to struggle to boil 5 gallons, while this will evaporate 5 gallons if I have the heat too high. Its stable and well built, and will last a long time.
