Great quality assembly, good value for the price. If you want to make things simple, also buy the 3/16" Beer Line Assembly (Product Number: 5408) and attach to shank end. Installed in about 10 minutes including cleaning the line. Very easy - wish I had done this years ago. Faucet is manual shut-off, hopefully this will not cause accidental dispensing. My beer fridge now houses two 5 gallon kegs, and a second tap is soon to follow. If you are thinking of adding this to your kit, just do it - well worth the price!

Great! Better than piecing together a kit!

This shank was better than expected. I installed three of them in less than 5 mins! Its even less expensive as if you were to piece together a kit. No reason not to buy this if you are building a kegerator. Mine has 4 taps so far housing 22 gal of beer. I will for sure order these again in the future to complete my kegerator to 33 gal. I am very picky on the things I buy and this has no complaint. So stop looking around contemplating on which shank or faucet to get, order this one! You'll be glad you did.

Having all the parts come together and the end piece welded makes this the best way to go for your kegerator! I now have 5 of these!

I've recently purchased two of these to add to my already existing two tap setup. They're a great deal and seem very sturdy. If I had more space I'd buy more. My two previous faucets came with the standard shank which I didn't see as being offered at this point so I went with the larger one. Same diameter just a longer shank.

This was incredibly easy to install. I bought a 7/8" hole saw at Lowe's and cut a small piece of wood for backplate in my fridge (I removed all the interior molding, so I am down to bare insulation... not exactly load bearing by itself). After that I was done drilling a hole in my fridge and installing this in less than 15 minutes. The tap itself is simple and effective. It pours well and contributes not flavor to my beer.

Easy to install and works great! Be careful, as the threads were fairly sharp and cut my hands.

I finally had it after loosing 4 + gallons of beer to the floor from a cheap picnic tap. I ordered the conversion kit and picked it up the same day. What a great investment. Easy to install, looks nice and does what it is suppose to do.
