- Great! Review by Tyler

Price Value Quality This was my first attempt at home-brewing. It turned out great. It is a lighter beer, it almost reminds me of a wheat style at first taste. I thought that it was the perfect balance of bitterness for how light it is, with the sazz hops giving a hint of spice to the finish.

Quality Price Value I took the advice of another reviewer, Tom, and added 2# clover honey at the end of the boil. I also added a shot of Irish Moss. Otherwise followed the instructions using White Labs vial. To my taste this is the best beer I have ever had. I don't taste honey but it really smoothed out the brew. I wouldn't describe it as light the way I brewed it, it has more body than that. Color is a deep gold as extract brews are. It makes me smile when I drink it.
I am still trying different kits and having fun but I don't see how I will top this one. Thanks Tom!(Posted on 1/20/12)
- Bitter at first, better with age Review by Sandy Lake Estate Brewing Co

Price Value Quality This was my third brew. I brewed it to the instructions and used the included dry yeast. I tasted it when I kegged it and it was very bitter, I was worried. After a month or so in the keg it lost a lot of that bitter edge. I think I will try adding honey next time as others have done and maybe add a little less bittering hops and space them out in the boil. I will brew this one again!

- Perfect for beginners Review by Irishbrewer

Price Value Quality This was the second beer kit I ever made. Easy to follow instructions and perfect for a beginner. Beer had a nice flavor to it. I did one week in the primary and straight to keg. Force carbed it and was drinking it in under two weeks from brew date. The older it got the better it tasted. It had a slight bitterness on the sides of the tongue, but that faded over time. It didn't last long enough to tell you how it peaked. I'd make this beer again.

- Excellent summer brew Review by John
-
Value Quality Price I brewed a batch of Aussie Light Ale as a kind of introductory summer beer. Taking the advice of the other reviewers, I added 1 lb of honey during the last 15 minutes of the boil. The end result is superb. This beer is crisp, well-balanced, and refreshing. Excellent beer to have on hand for a BBQ or after mowing your lawn. I'm ordering a second kit, as the first is definitely not gonna stick around for long.

- Great lighter tasting brew for anyone Review by Tom

Price Value Quality I have brewed this 4 times now for my wife. The first was just as it came in the kit, I liked it , wife liked it, father in law thought it was bitter. Second time I brewed and added 1 lb clover honey last 15 minutes of boil. I liked it better, wife liked it better, father in law said it was not as bitter as first time. 3rd time I brewed with 2 lbs clover honey and added at end of boil. I like it a lot as does my wife and now even my father in law ( Miller Lite fan ). I always keep a keg of this on hand for wife and her dad.

- Flavorful Light Review by The Big O
-
Price Value Quality I wanted something for the summer that I could drink when spending time at the lake and this certainly satisfied that. Taking the cue from rohloffj, I too added a pound of honey to the secondary for a hint of honey taste. I would certainly do that again! This is a great kit for a little more flavor than a traditional light beer, but still remains easy to drink.

- Pleasantly Suprised Review by Steve

Price Value Quality Picked up this kit to make for family get together, and let me tell you, it was a hell of a lot better than I expected. Although it's lower in alcohol, it has got a whole lot of flavor. Even non-beer drinkers were lovin' it. This will be a staple in my inventory. I might try adding an extra pound of DME to it, or possibly some rice syrup solids to add a little more "punch." But then again, it's was great the way it was. I recommend using the Wyeast with this one. This will blow away the Bud/Miller/Coors drinkers.

- Great all around brew Review by Matt

Price Value Quality Great kit -- refreshing, light taste, with a nice hop aroma and finish. This is in the keg right now, and gets better every day. Great beer for the Bud and Miller Light drinkers.
