- Good to start me off Review by Twotallgirls

Price Value Quality Thought I'd add a few reviews for my past few batches. This was my first time home-brewing and the kit helped me get off the ground. Made a few mistakes along the way (sanitize / sanitize) but 1 week ferment / 2 rack / minimum 2 week bottled - without a doubt it improved with age. Not as hoppy as I'd like but still a very good first brew.

- not what I expected Review by JAYBEE

Price Value Quality I had to recheck this brew with a hydrometer just to make sure it fermented(tastes like wort). It tasted too sweet for an IPA.

- I agree fellas, not an IPA Review by Ric B

Price Value Quality this is a decent brew, BUT NOT AN IPA. this is the second IPA kit i've gotten from midwest that was advertised as an IPA, but was not (the first was the 20 min english ipa kit). still it was drinkable, but just not very good. just an average brew and i'm not sure how to classify this one.

- Nice Brit Ale Review by CoalBrew

Price Value Quality I love this earthy, buttery ale. I don't think it should have the IPA designation unless you add some more hops... I usually dry hop with a good aromatic variety to add some aroma at the start.... but an excellent kit none-the-less. If you like british style pale ales, you should like this kit.

- OK British Ale Review by Tennessee Brewer

Price Value Quality Not sure why this is called an IPA. It does not taste like one. I have brewed this several times. Passable British-style ale but nothing spectacular. With that said, I've had no problem finishing the batch. Nice color and carbonation. I use primary only for two weeks and three weeks in the bottle. Dry yeast.

- Almost, but not quite entirely unlike an IPA Review by atgunning

Value Quality Price I just cracked open one and it's not bad. It's not IPA, but its not bad either. I added 1 extra oz of Fuggles leaf hops for 6 days before bottling after 2 weeks in secondary. This one finished dry and clear, with fairly decent head after 3 weeks in the bottle. Taste is nice and dry, malty aftertaste, decent hop aroma, nicely balanced bitterness. More like an ESB than an IPA.

- Not Bad... Review by andrew8626

Price Value Quality But not spectacular either. This is a decent IPA for the price. Left it in the primary for two weeks and the secondary for about a week before kegging. It has been kegged about a week now, and I will say, it is improving. Perhaps all it needs is a few more weeks. That said, as of right now this is a passable IPA, but definitely not one of my favorites. If you do go with this kit, and you're looking for serious hops flavor, consider adding an extra ounce or two.

- Not a bad Brit-style ale Review by Andrew

Price Value Quality This was my first brew and it is just now coming into it's own. I only gave it a week in primary and a week in secondary. I used the Wyeast activator. I bottled them and let them sit for 6 to 7 weeks and they are really starting to taste like something. Not an IPA, but something! I feel like it tastes like a hopped-up ESB, very British. Someone else thought it tasted like a Newcastle, which he said was a good thing. Not bad!

- Great, easy-drinking brew Review by Andrew

Price Value Quality I brewed before at my local "on-premise" spot, but this was my first real home-brewing experience. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The beer turned out tasty and everyone's been hounding me for more.
