Very nice product Review by havoc64

Ok I too am a mead maker and I have used Zorks on every batch of mead made. I too had leakage, but it was my fault. I cold crash my mead, and I bottled too soon after pulling the mead out of the fridge. I then laid the bottles on their side and had some leakage.

What I do now is bottle and leave them standing up. After a day to acclimate I go back and ensure the zorks are firmly pressed down. Then long term storage on their sides. I have some bottles that are more than a year old and still no leaks.

I would recommend Zorks to any meader or vinter..

I've used Zorks many times, and like them very much, especially for ports, where I'd like the option of a tasting cork. They're easy to install, with just a rubber mallet. They lay down nicely, with no leakage what so ever. Highly recommended!

These SUCK. Review by Meadguy

I recently made a 5 gallon batch of mead, which was not a sparkling mead in the slightest, and every bottle was laid on its side for less than a day. Upon coming home, I have half full bottles and a huge puddle of my hard work on my floor. I would NEVER, I repeat, NEVER suggest these to ANYONE, unless of course you're looking to dump most of the product you made. Or, even if you don't dump it, customers have a tendency to put wine bottles into WINE HOLDERS, which are sideways.

THESE ARE THE WORST CLOSURES I HAVE SEEN YET. Thanks for nothing, Zorks.

Editors note: Please make sure your wine or mead has finished fermenting and has been stabilized before bottling, if it is not it could push out corks with co2 production in the bottle

Zork's are great! Review by Olivino

I have been making wine for about two (2) years now and have been using Zork's the entire time.

Zork's are very easy to use (I just use a rubber mallet when bottling), and according to manufacturer, Zork's will protect your wine better and longer than your average cork.

I only wish that Zork's were available in more colors.

It's a great product.
