Riesling Ice Wine (Selection Speciale)

Made a batch of this for the ladies in my life. I went into it not knowing what to expect. Wow great flavor and body. I bottled off in 375 ml Bellisima bottles thinking it would be a sipping wine not one that you would drink a second round due to the sweetness. I was wrong next batch will be bottled in full size bottles.

My first kit wine and it turned out perfect. Didn't open it for 8 mos. Even better after 12 mos. Very easy to do yourself.

Yes full sized bottles I to bottled in the 375 and now wish it was the 750. Oh well starting a new batch and I have learned my lesson on bottle size.

This kit has fabulous taste and is fail safe. I normally make my wine from scratch, but a year and a half ago I purchased this kit, it remained in my closet for about 8 months before I remembered that I had it. It was some time in late June that I started to process it. Normally my process allows me to keep It in my air conditioned shop however for this kit it remained in my uncooled garage during the entire process, the temperature was in excess of 100 degrees for most of the entire process I racked it three times, and each time the flavor improved. When I bottled it in late September it turned out to be the best of all of my wine. If you like sweet wine, this is the one for you. I just ordered another kit and I am sure it will not be my last.

No guess work to this kit just open and add yeast, as easy as making coolaid. will add more when wine is done as to how it comes out.

I love the German off-dry, and various sweet wines, including ice wines. I was really surprised when I could produce a wine as good as these fine wines from a kit. The result is outstanding, even while still fairly young. I can't wait to try these when aged a little.

This kit makes a wonderful desert wine which is sweet but balanced enough to make it an easy sipper. Considering the price of quality desert wine this kit is a huge value. If you follow the directions you will end up with a delicious wine.

This wine is easy to make, turns out perfect. I've spent several years in the Mosel area and this wine really takes me back. It truly compares to some limited runs I was privileged to in the early 90's. This will become an annual event. I bottled most in 375ml to keep it in smaller doses to ensure my stock stays the course. I also bottled a few full size in case the need arises. I highly recommend this if your a German white wine fan.

I have made this wine several times, always a crowd pleaser.

We bought (2) of these to be able to make 6 gallons and wanted a white sweet wine for a special occasion. What we got was 6 gallons of the most beautiful golden color wine that has the sweetest aroma that will make your mouth water. I recommend this product soooo much that I just reordered it.
