I was pleasantly surprised by this. It tasted good a month after bottling. It's now been 3 months and its great! So much so I just ordered the 'World Vineyeard' version of this (slightly more expensive) to see if it is any different. I dinged the price stars because its gone up in price it seems, and is really almost the same cost now as the World Vineyard version. Well worth the money though. I recommend a second transfer like what is recommend on the selection kits. Sediment is much more noticeable in whites like this. A second transfer mostly eliminates this. I do it to all my batches now.

Made this kit twice

My wife and I have made this wine twice. It's been a hit with friends and family as well as us. It's ready to drink a month ago after bottling but better after two and peaks after three. Can't say if it gets much better affter four because we drank or gave it all away by then. Great with fish and chicken or for just sipping. I will buy again. Price is great.

Made this kit into Sparkling Wine

I made this kit into Sparkling Wine and it turned out excellent.
For those of you that have not tried making Sparkling Wine out of the Vintners kits, I do basically the same thing I do for making beer. Other than the bentonite, I do not add any of the "ites" and "ates" (no stabilizers that kill the yeast). Before bottling, I add some sugar, the same amount that I would use for making 6 gallons of beer, (most of the time I use corn sugar). I put it beer bottles using regular beer bottle caps (I’ve tried using Champagne bottles, but, capping them did not turn out very well, I broke the neck off several of them, and, I’ve never tried the plastic corks as I've heard bad stories about them leaking). Almost forgot, I use Champagne yeast instead of the yeast provided (I've tried using the provided yeast before and it did not turn out as well).

Has a very nice balance, an apple flavor (to me) and is just dry enough to make it interesting. Just had some with chicken tonight, and it was excellent. I gave my parents a couple of bottles and my Mom couldn't believe I made it, and she's had a lot of homemade wines. That tells me the quality shows.

Very Good For A First Timer

This was my fist attempt at wine making and it turned out quite well. Dry and a little tart. It doesn't quite have the tart zing of the New Zealand or Australian sauv. blancs, but it'd pay $10 for a bottle of this. At bottling the taste and aroma was pretty funky, but right at 3 months it's at about as good as it will get. It's been 8 months and I've got five left. Definitely worth the investment for a quick aging, everyday sort of wine that is very satisfying.

After making more different white kits in the last several years than I care to count...I do have a record...I have settled on this Sauvignon Blank as my go to white wine. It ferments and clears easily...it usually sits on the bench for 45 days+/-, no rush...it is crisp and dry and pairs well with chicken, fish, pork, or? A good white wine.

Good, but a bit thin

This was my first attempt at wine (I'm up to 5 now). It was EZ and turned out a good quality SB - better than many $10+ bottles I've bought. I thought it's body was a bit thin and would avoid topping off the carboy in the future. It had (it's all gone) a metallic aftertaste that lessens with age. I'd lay it down for 2-3 months after bottling next time, but I plan to try the French SB kit to see if it's better.

This wine is a little on the dry side. I taste grapefruit in mine. Easy instructions and brewing. I'm going to let it age for a few more months before I open another bottle. I will update.
