Sparkolloid is by far, our most popular and effective wine clarifier. Mix one tablespoon of sparkalloid into 1 cup of boiling water. Boil for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. While solution is still warm, mix into 6 gallons of wine and stir gently. For best results, wait at least a month before bottling.

I love Sparkloid, but on the bottle it says allow 1 week to clear before bottling or racking. Not sure why everyone thinks it takes a month.

I always worry that fining agents will strip flavor or aroma from my wine. I may end up using not quite enough just to be on the safe side. With Sparkalloid I've not had a problem. It's easy to use, removes haze, and doesn't impact the flavor.

Sparkolloid clears anything anywhere anytime. It has no effect on taste or color, it just works. If you make wine, its a must purchase. It works in a lot less time than 4 weeks, but I still give it the 4 weeks. I use it all the time.

It clarifies wine well, and doesn't strip flavor. I've had problems with Gelatin so I prefer Sparkolloid. The only downside is it takes a month.

It works very well for both wine and beer. Normally I don't use it for beer, just for wine, but I was curious. It clears well and doesn't strip flavor like gelatin can. I don't care that it takes a month to clear, it does a good job.

This is yet another clarifying agent to add to your arsenal of clarifying agents. This is good for beers, especially when switching to a secondary. This clarifying agent is not boiled like Irish moss but mixed with the beer after it has fermented for a bit. It really clears up the beer and doesn't add any off flavors that I have experienced.
