Many vintners believe that de-stemming the grapes after crushing is not ideal, as the stems can contribute to harsh, unwanted tannins. By first de-stemming the grapes, you're able to crush only the whole grapes, with very few stems remaining. Stainless steel Motorized de-stemmer (does not crush the grapes).
