This quick connect is a great add on for your system. Stainless steel ensures it will be long lasting with no rust. Put these male pieces on brewery parts like kettles, pumps, chillers, etc.

Makes switching hoses a breeze Review by Jude

Product Rating:

Expensive but worth it. These were a nice upgrade for my home brewery. They make moving hoses around much easier, saving me time and hassle.

Easy plate chiller backflush Review by Marc

(Posted on 3/19/13)

Product Rating:

I replace my Moen kitchen sink hose sprayer with this and connect it to the female quick disconnects on my Therminator for a quick and easy backflush rig. I leave the chiller in my kitchen sink and run hot water through it while I clean up the rest of my brew equipment. This is a effective alternative if you don't have a deep well sink in your house that you can hook a backflush rig to.

A little expensive but the stainless should last a lifetime.

Great for Hot Side Connections Review by Jesse B

(Posted on 4/18/13)

Product Rating:

I use this in conjunction with the Blichmann stainless ball valve on the outlet side of my kettle. I have the plastic disconnects on all my other hoses but use the stainless type on the kettle for obvious reasons. I noticed that the mating part, the female disconnect with a 1/2" barb is not available at Midwest? I prefer having the threaded / male disconnect on the kettle outlet side because its not subjecting the part you have to put your fingers on in direct contact with the flame.
