I purchased the winemaking kit with the Italian floor corker upgrade
And I could not be more satisfied. The equipment is excellent quality and The Italian floor corker is worth every penny. The DVD that comes with the kit is a tremendous source of information; I watched it several times during wine making and found it very helpful.
The best part of being a Midwest customer is their helpline witch
I have utilized twice already and appreciate the chance to talk to someone with that much experience in the hobby.
This product is a great value.

Everything you need to get started. The DVD instructions were clear and concise and got me interested in home beer brewing as well. Definitely worth the extra $$$ for the Italian corker. Really well-made. I bought this as a low-cost startup to see if I would enjoy the hobby. Needless to sy I am hooked!
P.S. Don't forget to buy some potassium metabisulfite. It is the only thing I think the kit is missing. Also, an auto siphon would make things easier as well, but it is not necessary.

I am so glad I paid extra for the Italian Floor Corker, as it makes it so much easier to bottle. The DVD is very clear, and it's much nicer to see instructions than read them.
The kit is of good quality.
Don't pinch pennies and get an inferior kit, only to respend the money buying a better kit. Spend the money once and buy this kit.

For those new to wine making, the DVD is quite good. Much better than random clips on youtube. I was advised to get this kit because of the Italian Floor Corker. My friend said any money I spent on a crappy corker would be wasted, and I'd end up getting a good corker now, so consider that money wasted.
I'm glad I took his advice.
A great kit.

Starter Winemaking Equipment Kit w/Italian Floor Corker

Pretty much everything you need to start making wine with an outstanding corker. Everything is solid, well constructed and well packaged for shipment (almost). I would definately recommend this product. I decided on this package although I had to buy other items because of the corker. Wanted something to make it easy to cork all the bottles of wine that I will be making.
I recommend this package. The only negatives are:
The floor corker is very easy to put together ... a big plus, but does not have rubber feet to protect your floors. It's heavy and made of strong metal.
The other one negative is that I order a bag of powder sanitizer. When I placed the box in my office, I had sanitzer all over the floor. Upon opening the box, I discovered the stanitzer bag was punctured by another product in the box. So, lost a bit of my sanitizer and had a lot to clean up from the floor and my desk.
Just minor negative items and if I were to grade the entire product, I would give it a 95%. I'm very happy with my purchase.

My friend has been making wine for years and recommended I get the kit with the floor corker. I'm glad I did as it's awesome. I'm having fun with this kit and just transferred my first wine to the secondary.

This is a staff pick and I agree, its got good components. No sense in buying lesser quality components, only to have to replace them, and be frustrated in the process. I'm totally satisfied, it's worth every penny.
