Great late addition hop. Bred by the American Dwarf Hop Association in the United States, released in 2003.
Development: Cross pollination of Lexus and an unspecified male; derived from numerous plants including Zeus, Nugget and male USDA varieties.

Aroma: Distinct spiciness with earthy, onion, garlic and citrus characteristics
Alpha Acids: 16.0 — 19.0%
Beta Acids: 3.3 — 6.0%
Co-Humulone: 26 — 33%

This is my favorite hop! I love bitter beer and the Summit hops add enough bitterness to satisfy my cravings.

Works great in Imperial IPA's, IPA's and Pale Ales, Great bitterness, and goes well with hops like Cascade, Willamette, Citra.

This super hops has great bittering properties as well as great aroma if add late in the boil. A cross breed between Nugget, and citrus flavored hops with a super ALPHA content of 6:1 alpha-to-beta acid ratio.
