Super Irish Moss

I received my order yesterday to find that my Irish Moss was one solid rock in a jar. While this was told to me as being ok, I might suggest looking to find this somewhere local so that you don't have to chip it away to use it. I will continue to use it but probably will not order it. As a note, this could be because of either the storage or making of the product.

I did not have any trouble with the product. It was a fine powder when I received mine. This stuff really works well and better than regular Irish Moss. The beer is very clear and I think easy to use. I have used this for the past 4 batches of beer and have been very happy. I will buy this again.

I live in a dry part of the country and have never had a problem with this product caking up. I think it is easy to use and the beer is clear.

"I can brew clearly now, the haze is gone..." are some new song lyrics I'm applying to an old tune after using this stuff. Threw some in on my last order to give it a shot. And you know what? I received several compliments about how clear my beer was! Really this is a MUST if you want others to think your brew is serious stuff. It goes a LONG way because you only use a teeny-tiny bit during the end of your boil.

I used this for my second batch to help get some of the extra particles out but I did not see any separation at the bottom of my brew kettle like I was expecting. I will have to see if there is more sludge at the bottom of the fermentor than my first batch. My jar came with a loose powder, not like the other reviewers that had large clumps. The jar seems like it will last forever so I will keep on trying it to see results.

I consider this a must use product if your intention is to achieve clarified beer. I've been using it for years and it works great.

Tried this after a few of my beers started coming out a little hazy, cleared up like magic! I now use this for every brew, made it part of my process and an essential ingredient in every recipe. The product came as a fine powder, will def order again.

When I add this to my wort, it looks like egg drop soup, as the proteins start to coagulate. The beer is also clearer when I bottle.

This does make a difference in terms of clearing your beer. Its noticeably clearer. I add it in the last 5 minutes of the boil and mix it in.
