Superyeast

Used according to directions, also stirred and aerated everyday or so. Got 18%. Next time I will start with a lower concentration of sugar, and increase it when I stir/aerate.

I used this yeast with 10 lbs of Brown sugar, 3 cups of wild honey, and 2 lbs of turbinado sugar (sugar in the Raw). Produced a quality 20% Abv in seven days. Be carefull though, this turns out to look like muddy water though. It must be filtered out plenty with carbon and filter media, but turns out very nice!

is it safe for high alcohol wine drinking

17 LB of white sugar and 6 days, the hydrometer barely floated 20+%
used Super-Kleer KC finings to clean the liqueur. Used carbon snake filter, had to run it through the carbon filter twice, changing the carbon to remover all the volatiles. Good thing I got the big bag of replacement carbon. You know there are still volatiles if there is a smell of color to the liquor. keep filtering until it clear and has no oder. Made it in the middle of winter in MN so I used head belt to keep it warm.

This makes a heck of a strong wine in a short amount of time.
It is like a Vodka alcohol taste. Strong !
I still had sugar to be fermented in the wine,but chose to stop the fermentation ahead of time to get a sweet,strong wine.

While it definitely needs to be filtered for the best product, this yeast is indeed "super." I get 6 gallons of 20% Abv in a week and (once filtered) is a great additional to fruit juices and homemade liquors.

I used nutrient, gradually added sugar, and got 19%, so this stuff is powerful. I can get a very powerful drink in a week, great stuff.

This stuff really does work well. It will ferment some very high ABV alcohol. Great product, and I will be using it everytime in the future with my high ABV brews.
