Don't worry as much about dropping/cracking my carboys when using this. Have been using them for a few years and very happy with them. Adjustable size accomodates the various carboy sizes i use.

Worth every penny if you insist on glass... and I do. If you've ever tried to move a full or even freshly wash, wet, slippery carboy you've immediately realize the benefit of having this. tool.

I just ordered a 2nd one. Will probably order more for my other carboys. No way will I go back to carrying without one of these. As a bonus, it now makes it convenient to have my wife help me carry them, as it makes it possible for a two person carry.

Must carry carboy very low to the ground or use two people. Carrying too high will cause handles to slide together and full carboy will fall out and break. Definitely not made for 6.5 gallon carboys. Broke mine full of Porter with a two inch yeast cake at the bottom. That's the first time I have ever had to clean my industrial carpet with a scoop shovel. Needs improving.

This is an invaluable device for moving full 5-6 gallon carboys alone. It also makes it very easy to lift them up onto my workbench by myself for racking. I use carboy handles as well, but would not try moving full carboys any distance without this. One other reviewer said he had a carboy fall out and break. In my experience, using this item for over 2 years, the only way that could happen is if it was incorrectly adjusted and/or the straps were not checked before lifting. If you take 15 seconds to make sure everything is lined up and fitted right, it works perfectly. I make over 100 gallons a year and would not work in the winery without it.

Solved my problem of transport of glass carboys. Plastic buckle is secure and convenient.
