Must have Review by Bob

Product Rating:

These are a must have if using glass carboys. After I tried one, it was extreme easy to justify the expense and equip all my carboys with these. I set my carboys down on a cement basement floor and used to cringe hearing that glass meets concrete grinding noise. The webbing on the bottom nicely cushions and protects the glass. Also helps protect the sides when you have carboys sitting next to each other.

Be careful putting them on, however. The first time was kind of confusing untangling and making sense of the mess of webbing. Had a carboy fall out of one after I failed to secure the latch. The brew hauler folded up and spit the carboy out as soon as i lifted it. I did a miracle save and caught the carboy and averted diseaster. I'll never make that mistake again.

My friend picked up a carboy and it sheared and spilled everything and almost cut him. The brew hauler can save you from a big gash. It's also a lot easier to to carry a filled carboy with the hauler. It's well worth it.

Great but spendy Review by Martin

This is a great harness for moving those glass carboys. I think the price is a bit higher but they are well made. I even managed to be able to use this on the big mouth growler when stretched to the max.

It's much easier carrying a full carboy with this hauler than without it. Same for better bottles. But for carboys the biggest advantage is it can save you from getting badly cut if it breaks while carrying or lifting which has happened to brewers over the years..

Best purchase of the year Review by William

These saved my carboys from being replace by better bottles.
They take away the risk of slipping or hurting my back or of the carboy cracking and cutting me. It takes a minute to put it on, but once on I leave it on. I bought a bunch, one for each carboy.

I can't tell you how amazing this thing is, and I'm even going to get another one to go along with it! I ferment my beers in my basement but I brew in my garage, so getting them up and down those stairs has been awful for my back, but now with this brew-hauler moving a full 5-gallon fermenter's a breeze and I don't have to worry about dropping it either! One of the best brewing investments I've made, definitely!

My legs are stronger than my arms and I can easily carry full 6 gallon carboys now. No fear of slipping or the bottle cracking. A great invention.

Its shocking how much easier and safer it is to use the Brew hauler than to not use it. No back, all legs,, unless maybe at the end, and if you can rest the carboy on a small table, you can use your legs for that. I have 2 for when I brew 10 gallons and split it into two car boys.
