If you follow the directions in ferment it in cool temperature you will get a very smooth sweet tasting beer. I actually like it better than the store bought Bud

This was actually my first all grain and first lager. (I guess if your gonna do it, might as well go for broke!) It turned out Excellent!!! Very easy to ferment, considering i had a temperature controller for the fridge, and it was a big hit with the non-homebrew drinkers. If you're looking for a recipe to share with friends that don't believe homebrew can taste "like a real beer" (A commercial beer) this will blow away there taste buds! Truly a head turning homebrew to share with people who haven't been introduced to the world of homebrewing. Thanks Midwest!

After jumping into homebrewing with an all grain recipe and making a few mistakes in the process. I think the beer turned out very good. My wife likes it and she's not a big beer drinker. I'm not afraid to let my friends try it,all are American lager drinkers.

Th beer came out ok, but not really like Bud. Its a good session beer and I can have a few no problem. I used the White Labs Pilsner lager yeast.
