What the heck is
Twitter? Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging
service that enables its users to send and read other users' updates
known as tweets. Tweets are text-based posts of up to 140 characters
in length which are displayed on the user's profile page and
delivered to other users who have subscribed to them (known as
followers). Senders can restrict delivery to those in their circle
of friends or, by default, allow anybody to access them. Anybody is
you, our loyal Midwest customers.
What the heck is Midwest going to do with Twitter? Midwest is
going to offer updates for homebrewers and winemakers. If you don’t
already have a Twitter account, go to
www.twitter.com and sign up for a free account. Do a search for
"Midwest Homebrewing" for our homebrewing profile, and "Midwest
Supplies" for our winemaking profile. Click "Follow" to get our our
Tweets and we’ll do the rest.
Approximately 2-3 times a week Midwest will send you a Tweet (140
character) text e-mail filled with interesting facts, tips,
tricks, jokes, quotes, and observations related to beer and wine.
Our Tweets will also include updates regarding new products, sale
events and promotions. You can quit at any time. Join the modern
ages of social networking and start Tweeting with Midwest.
