I have tried other less expensive extra light LME's and have found Briess to be the lightest and cleanest. The other LME's left dark residue in the brewpot. This LME won't . I have used it to brew Kolsch, Porter and Stout. It provides a clean background for any specialty grain.

I brew about 20 small (2.5 gallon) extract brews each winter. With a little planning I am able to order a case of six 3.3 lb extracts and save a little money. My wife loves the containers when I am done.

Excellent quality product and buying in quantity helps keep the cost of making a high end home brew down, we all want to make grade A home brew but isn't it a little better if it costs less to make

I have started to buy this as to reduce the cost of brewing extract beers, I have had great results with a Dogfish 60 min IPA, a Magic Hat # 9 , and saving a few dollars along the way. the 3.3 fowls me up a little now and again as many recipes call for 6 lbs. and you all know how great this stuff is to work with. ( Sticky as ^%@#). but am having great results.
