Universal Poppet

I have pin-lock kegs that are converted to ball-lock. These poppets don't work in my kegs. The spring is too short and so it doesn't seat against the inside top of the post causing gas to pour out. Couple that with three emails asking for a return number (that I never heard back from!) and the $4 price tag and perhaps it easy to understand that I'm not happy with these, or midwestsupplies.

Usually when something says universal it should work for everything. It isn't even close to sealing on my pin lock kegs. Sucks I wasted almost $10 on two useless parts and now I have to waste even more time and money going to a local store so I can keg a batch of beer today.

Editor's Note: If you have modified your pin lick kegs to use Ball lock posts these will not work, and do not work with some rare types of old pin lock styles.

Changed out all my old poppets on my ball lock kegs with these guys. Worth every penny.

I was having trouble with foam and air in my beer lines and decided to try replacing my poppets. This quick, cheap fix sealed my post and allowed the lines to fill completely. Great product. (Used on ball lock, firestone keg).

These work awesome! The design is so simple and it all comes apart when you remove the post. So its simple and super easy to clean with a replaceable oring? How can you go wrong?! I all my Kegs will be running these someday!

I got some old kegs off Craigs list that needed new poppets. I replaced the old poppets with this and they all worked.
