Wine snobs say these don't work because the vacuum removes something from the wine. This winemaker uses a vacuum to degas so I know that is false.
I bought the concerto as a gift for my sister and the cheaper one for myself. The main difference between the two models is you get four stoppers with the concerto and one stopper with the regular.
I haven't heard back what my sister thinks of it with grape wine but I know it has worked with my apple wine and meads.

Love it, but better to have one w/rack & cover. Review by Eliska

A simple device to keep wines "good to the last drop". Rare to find one that comes w/a rack and cover that easily sits on our counter top. Kudos to Midwest Supplied for carrying the complete set.
