Washington Riesling (World Vineyard)

$75.99

Product Number: P3586

Availability: In stock

World Vineyard Washington Riesling has a distinctive floral and green apple aroma mixed with mineral elements from its Washington vineyard, giving it a brisk, 'racy' quality. Its high natural level of acidity enables it to balance a hint of residual sugar, setting off aromas of rose petal, apple, pear, peach and apricot and leading to a grand crisp finish of flinty mineral notes. Riesling is the longest-lived of all white wines.

It is a little drier Riesling...not so sweet. Many people ask for another bottle once they have tried.

I can't make enough of this wine. It is usually spoken for while it's still in the secondary.

This is the first wine kit that I tried....it was recommended when I mentioned that my wife liked Chardonnay. It turned out better than I and my wife had expected! Crystal clear...great flavor. When I transferred to bottling bucket with spigot, I gave my wife a sample and she asked for more......!!! What can I say??? MMMmmmmm!!!!!!

GREAT WHITE WINE Review by Jay

(Posted on 1/6/12)

Product Rating:

This is a great white wine. I have noticed that this wine takes a little longer then the other white wines to clarify, but the extra couple of weeks are well worth it. It is a very smooth wine, and we always have troubles letting it age for 3 months, we like to sample it sooner do to the GREAT smooth taste. It is highly recommended. ENJOY!!!

Great Starter Kit Review by minnesotaris

I bought this to start my winemaking, to see if I could after homebrewing so long. This is a good kit. The instructions are very clear and the process is simple. I made 30 bottles of wine and they are aging. It is recommended that they age >6 mos. so I am and everyone says it gets better.

This does have the F-pack of juice for adding after fermentation. Midwest's price is by far the best.

Great at Bottling Review by jim

This was my second Riesling kit. The first was not very good. The first was Vintner's Reserve which was bitter. This was fruity and tart. I only bottled 27 bottles since we sampled so much of it while bottling. Even my wife, a Chardonnay drinker, liked it.

Tastes great, easy to make! Review by Michael Henry

I've been a homebrewer for over 15 years and my wife finally persuaded me to make wine. Seeing that I already had most of the equipment I needed I gave it a try.

I decided to make something that we both would like and settled on World Vineyards Washington Riesling. Being spoiled by having my homebrew on tap, I didnt want the hassle of bottling wine so I ordered the Fermtech wine dispenser for the fridge.

Instead of taking a whole day like it does for all-grain brewing, you can get it into the fermenter in about 20 minutes, this includes sanitizing your equipment!

Man does it taste great! I have friends that cant believe its homemade. If you are considering making wine, I highly recommend the World Vineyards kits, in particular the Washington
Riesling.

Good wine at a good price. Review by Scott from M O Brew Crew

The Beer and Wine making club that I belong to has made this twice. Everyone likes it and it is split up with the poeple that bottled it. So if you are not there when it is bottled you will not get any. I just started another kit to split up with 2 other friends. Looking forward to enjoying it this fall.
