Wine Conditioner 500mL

Product Number: 9011

Availability: In stock

Wine Conditioner is a sweetener and stabilizer all in one. Made from liquid invert sugar (a non-fermentable sugar) and potassium sorbate (prevents renewed fermentation). This product allows you to sweeten your wine without worry of fermentation or carbonation in the bottle. Wine conditioner also reduces the effects of aging. Use 2 - 4 ounces per gallon.

Used on Mead Review by Rick

Product Rating:

I made a cyser mead which came out tart. I used the wine conditioner and the tart aftertaste was completely eliminated. After just a few more months of aging I believe it will be a great mead.

Back sweetened a dry mead Review by Redmond

Product Rating:

I used a very attenuative yeast on my Med and it was too dry. I was able to save it by gradually adding this wine conditioner, a little at a time, tasting, then scaling up.

Helps lower quality wine Review by SNJ

(Posted on 11/9/13)

Product Rating:

I like to mess around with cheap base for my wine. Like Walmart grape juice for example. I can make acceptable table wine from lower quality ingredients. The conditioner fits right in with this plan, turning some of these round.

has it's place Review by William

(Posted on 10/14/13)

Product Rating:

I've ruined wine with this stuff so be careful. Start with half of what you think you need and add incremental amounts. It's perfect for making low end wines using low quality ingredients like grape juice from the super market. What it can also do is add a little sweetness to overly dry wines, but start with small amounts.

Helps out low end wines Review by Parker

(Posted on 8/28/13)

Product Rating:

I have been experimenting with low end components like grape juice from Walmart and seeing what kind of wine I can make. The conditioner is perfect for this type of wine. I can produce an acceptable table wine from really inexpensive base ingredients. This has it's place in the wine makers repertoire.

Can help some overlt dry wines Review by Will

(Posted on 7/27/13)

Product Rating:

This can smooth out the flavor of bad wines that used low quality ingredients. You are not going to use this with good quality wines, that's for sure. It takes the harshness off your wine if its too dry or acidic. I suggest using half the dosage and taste it before adding more.

Like to use this Review by Thomas

Product Rating:

I like using this to sweeten my finished wines. It is a great product with the stabilizer already in it, so it won't referment. It's worked wonderfully every time.

Good for sweet wines Review by Farzan

(Posted on 4/18/13)

Product Rating:

It's useful for dry wines using inexpensive sweeteners like grape juice on clearance. It takes the bite off the wine and prevents bottle bombs. I don't need this for wines using better quality ingredients. I has it's place on my shelf for the occasional wine that needs sweetening.
