Recipes are good Review by Simon

Product Rating:

I heard that this has good recipes and given how inexpensive it is I got it. I've made two of the recipes and also found it interesting to read through the others, to look at common ingredients.

Why pink? Review by Sample

Product Rating:

For a small book it's loaded with good recipes. I've made 4 so far , and liked them all. The only bad thing is the print is in pink which is harder to read.

Good recipes Review by Huber

Product Rating:

We've made 4 wines form the book and liked all of them. These are time tested and worth making. I don't know what an "old fashioned" or "Out of date" wine is. Anything that was good to drink 100 years ago is worth making again today.

For such a small book it has a lot of recipes and the ones that I've made are good. I really dislike the pink letterring, it make sit hard to read- minus 1 star for that

For 3 bucks I wasn't expecting anything and this book has a bunch of good recipes. Good value except for the color of the print.

This is a nice read for any aspiring wine maker. I would highly recommend this to someone just starting out.

A good set of recipes Review by Sean

Product Rating:

Its an old book, with old recipes. Some of them are good and have stood the test of time. I would have much preferred the text to be in readable black. I like some of the fruit wines, I've made them and they are good. I'd like to try some of the more unusual recipes too someday.

Some very good recipes Review by Andy

(Posted on 4/17/13)

Product Rating:

Its got some interesting recipes and some for less common fruit. Well presented.
Bottom Line: Id prefer the text not be in pink, but it's got good recipes, and I can get conversion calculations on the internet.

I received this book as a gift and found it to be very interesting with the different kinds of recipes that were in this book. I am trying to decide on what kind of wine that I am going to try to make out of this book. My first two choices so far are the blackberry wine or strawberry wine. Can't wait to try out these recipes!!

Product Rating:

This book has some great and unusual recipes. Lots of options for various types of fruits (like prickly pear wine ). It's suitable for beginners and has enough options that more experiences wine makers will be interested.
