This is a high-quality Italian-made press that measures 21.5" x 36" and has a 50 lb capacity. "Old World" design with hardwood basket, double ratchet and steel basin. Interior of basket measures approximately 10" x 14". The ratcheting action allows greater pressure to be applied to the grapes for an easier, more efficient press, saving you time and energy over the standard style presses. An ideal press size for 5 to 10 gallon batches of wines from grapes or other fruit.
<b>Please Note:</b>These presses make a long journey to America and as such, usually arrive with the odd scratch or scratches in the paint. This is unavoidable, but is no cause for concern. Treat the scratches as you would the other exposed metal parts of the press. Never store wet and apply a light coat of mineral oil.
