Chardonnay/Semillon (Selection Original)

This has to be the worst wine of the 6 different batches I have made in the past 5 years.I gave my neighbour 2 bottles to try he returned 1 full and another 3/4 full, the remaining 22 bottles are about to go down the drain. With the time and effort involved in making wines this batch actually rates a zero. please shop elsewhere. tony b.

I have made 50+ batches of wine from kits over many years now, including a wide variety of different chardonnay kits. I am not a huge fan of whites, but when I have white I prefer it to have full body and plenty of oak - and this wine is both of those. My sister and her husband are sort of wine snobs, and they mistook this chardonnay for one of their favorite commercial bottles. Yup, it is that good. I don't know why Tony B gave it such a harsh rating, but it makes me think that he screwed something up when making it...
