Product Rating:

I'm a beer drinker by nature but have always been interested in wine this was my first try and I really am enjoying this. I'm actually having a hard time letting it age.

Smooth!! Review by Stu

Product Rating:

I have made this particular Merlot 3 times. It has never failed to produce. After transferring to glass carboy, I age for 6 months minimum before I bottle. I sample very little, because it doesn't require much more than time. The last batch I made I added 1 can of Alexanders canned Merlot concentrate. The difference is definitely measurable. Enjoy!

Product Rating:

For the price vs. the quality of the wine the kit makes, it's a good deal.
I gave it plenty of time to age so it reached it's peak. Its medium bodied with a berry taste.

This is an excelent wine for the price. It is as good or better than most $10-$12 bottles of Merlot in the store.

Just popped open a bottle of this that has aged ~3 months. Pretty darn good. Can't wait to open up another around 6 months! Easy to make, WineExpert gives great instructions.

I made this wine last year. I oaked it and let it sit in a carboy out of sight so I wouldn't be tempted to sample it. Now its ready and it's fabulous. Aging it a year made the difference.

Quite pleasd with this wine! Review by Chuck

Product Rating:

This is my first attempt at home brewing wine. It turned out well. I have already had one bottle even though it hasn't fully aged, and I am amazed at the smoothness and fruitiness of this merlot. I plan to save two bottles from this batch. I will let one age for 6 months and the other for a year. I couldn't be happier with this wine.
