Tried the zork and got zonked. These manually installed corks simply do not work. I tried these zorks on a 375ml long stem bottle that would take #8 cork. The plastic continually split and would not center to install properly. Out of 30 purchased only one worked correctly! There's got to be a better way!
*Editor's Note: Zorks are best used with normal size 750ml wine bottles.

I have used these Zorks on two batches of mead and have not had any problems or any that have split (they should be sanitized and wet when you insert them). I also used a rubber mallet because your hand gets tired after a few. They look great, professional, and not need for the foil shrinking step or chance of cork failure!

I've been using these for years now, and I love them. Just tap then on with a neoprene mallet. They will last for years and the bottles can be stored upright in cases. Zorks open without the need for a cork screw. Superior in every way to a cork in my opinion.

These will work very well on the 375ml bottle, BUT you need to work with them HOT. By that I mean keep them in a pot of boiling water (which sanitizes as well), I use gloves when I'm doing this because they are hot to the touch. I have gotten so good at it that I dont need the rubber mallet any longer, position in the center then push down turning right to left and they will seat nicely, but they must be hot (MALLIBLE) .

I don't need a mallet or have to wear out my hands sealing bottles with these. Its also easy to open the bottle, and the seal is tight.

I've been using these for 2 years and have not had any leaks. They are easy to put on, and remove. I don't need a mallet or any other tool. I've only used them on 750ml bottles.

My first batch of wine was bottled with these and I thought these were fantastic. I bit pricey I suppose but simple to use and can store my wine upright in boxes. Seal looks absolutely air tight and supposed to be good for 4 t o5 years. They will only work on a certain type of bottle and I used that type of bottle and all 750ml and had no problems. I did use a small rubber mallet but was really effortless. Can use a different colors to coordinate your wine.

They work well and it's great that they can re-seal. I've used them for a year and love them. A rubber mallet is good to have on hand.
