4.0 / 5.03 ReviewsGreat Alternative to large bottles and CorksThese are a great alternative to the .750 ml bottles. They take the regular caps and you don't have to worry about exploding your precious Belgian ales. I just finished aging a Dubbel in these for a month. They worked perfectly. Highly recommended if you want to brew Belgians but you don't want to get into corks and wire caps. They can be a bit pricey.April 24, 2017Purchased
9 months agoGreat bottles for higher carbed beers and beers with brett/lab. But it is way more fun to not support ab inbev (they own this site and northern brewer)). So i would much rather prefer to buy bottles of beer in this style of thicker glass, use the dregs, and then clean/reuse the bottles.June 22, 2017Purchased
6 months agoNice looking and well made, but does not work with hand capperI like the look and feel of these bottles, but I was not happy to find that a hand capper will not work on this bottle because the flared ring on the neck won't fit into the gripper part of the capper. I tried 3 different cappers, and none fit. It appears that a bench top capper is required. A more minor issue is that the opening is too small for Fermenter's Favorites fizz drops to fit through.May 1, 2017Purchased

Browse 2 questions Browse 2 questions and 11 answersDo these take standard sized bottle caps or do I have to buy the larger caps, and if so what size?BEST ANSWER: yes, these will take a standard crown cap. I purchased these and was able to use them just like regular bottles. Can i put a belgian cork in these bottles?BEST ANSWER: These are specifically made crown caps, they do sell bottles for cork capping. These are real heavy and can take the higher pressures of Belgian style beers.
