4.9 / 5.09 ReviewsCute little bottleIts an unusual looking bottle so I put something unusual in it - my Orange Blossom Sweet Mead. I seal them with a #8 corkFebruary 7, 2014FancyFancy looking bottles that people like to get. I use them for wines and meads that are consumed in smaller quantities like Mead and fruit wine. Plus i can use the #8 corks I already have in stock.December 8, 2013ChicI really like the way this bottle looks, its very stylish and really ups the presentation. Since its small I use it for wines that are consumed in small quantities like desert wines.October 30, 2013Handsome looking bottlesThe bottles really look nice and I get complements all the time. I have an Italian floor corker and I insert #8 corks with no problem.August 26, 2013Good for specialty winesI like these bottles for fruit wines I make, or sweet dessert wines. The bottles add to the presentation and their unusualness adds to their charm. I use #8 corks with no problem.July 12, 2013Fancy looking bottleIt's a natural for fruit wines. The bottles are well made, with thick glass so as not to break. I use the #8 corks with them.May 18, 2013Great iced wine bottleI bought these a couple years ago to use with an iced wine recipe I got from Midwest. The bottles are thick, and tough, which means they are forgiving if they tip or knock into something. I highly recommend these bottles. We also used them for some of our more expensive kits that we were giving away as gifts. It looks sharp and the people loved not only the wine, but the presentation and fancier look. Great price Midwest!December 13, 2012Great for sweet winesBought these for dessert style wines, both fortified and fruit wines. Just the right amount. BTW, if you raise the height b y placing blocks under the legs the Portuguese floor corker will work just fine with these bottles.September 14, 2011Cork Sizes (use a #8)The information given for this bottle included the specification that a #8 or #9 cork could be used. I bought a bag of Nomacorc #9 corks and they are really not an appropriate cork size. So if you are using synthetic corks, I would go with a #8.June 26, 2010
