Product Details

The #7 Straight Wine Corks work well with beer bottles for short term storage of wine.

Due to the diameter of this cork, we do not recommend using them with wine bottles as they do not create a tight seal. Instead we would recommend the #8 x 1 3/4 Corks or the #9 x 1 3/4 Corks.

#7 corks

In the last 2 weeks, every bottle of wine I have opened that used the corks I bought, has had the cork disintegrate as I tried to pull the cork out. I am using the same bottle opener that I have used for the last 3 years. What's up??

The corks I ordered work easily and seal perfectly.

Make sure you know what you are getting

They are not tapered at the top and bottom as shown in pic. And tore with my corker. Would much prefer a non solid cork that are commonly used in wine.

Used in Perrier Bottles

Used this and a hand corker to bottle a sour in Perrier bottles. Took some melted wax, used a knife and sealed the top. Very cool looking and a neat way to cork without spending a ton of money on a floor corker!
