These bottles flatten and shape beautifully. Thanks.December 18, 2015Great presentationThe blue bottles are stylish and enhance the appeal of the wine. _x000D_With a red wine the bottle darkens so you can't really see the blue. But with a white you can see the blue.March 18, 2014Nicest wine bottles I've usedNice shape and nice color. As the bottle fills it gets darker because the wine reduces the opacity, but the top remains blue. It works best with white wine.February 10, 2014Cute bottleA real eye catcher, I use it for Mead. The color darkens as it's filled but you can still see the cobalt blue at the top where there is no liquid.December 12, 2013Pretty looking bottleThe bottle looks so nice, I save it for special things like Mead and some high end wines.November 2, 2013

Browse 5 questions Browse 5 questions and 17 answersCan these handle carbonation?BEST ANSWER: I,m not sure what you mean by "carbonation," however, if you are referring to the suitability of bottling wine and preserving it for several years at a temperature not exceeding 65 degrees (F), it certainly will. I use them only for white wines with silver shrink wraps. I hope this answers your inquiry.
Dr. Tom Jaeger, WinemakerCan these bottles be capped for home brewing and if so what size caps needed ?BEST ANSWER: Thanks for contacting Midwest Supplies. I understand you would like to cap these for beer, but unfortunately wine bottles are too big to be capped, plus the isn't a big enough lip that the crown cap could hold onto.
