10 months agoBest resultsThis yeast was amazing, mash worked for almost 3 weeks and resulted in 20% yield. Used 24 hour yeast on another batch and wasn't happy with the result, only got about 8% from this batch. Only got about a quart of alcohol from 5 gals. of mashJune 1, 2017Purchased

over 2 years agoSmufryboyshineAlcotec is one of the best out there! always get my percentage and a bit more!January 20, 2016Voracious appetiteTurbo yeast is both fast and does it ever consume sugar. I was amazed at how fast it worked and how much sugar it consumed and how attenuative it is. It generates a lot of heat so you may want to set your mash container in a tub or pool if possible.January 19, 2014Great YeastIf you are working with high sugar mashes this product is great. I've used it several times and had outstanding results. It delivers consistent alcohol content and does not stay suspended for very long.December 26, 2013Very fast actingIt sure does produce a lot of alcohol in a hurry. The bucket I ferment this in warms up a lot too. I've used this for stuck fermentations, and for hard cider, and it does what it says.August 4, 2013EXPLOSIVE!!!Used this yeast on 2 different ales. RESPECT THIS YEAST!!! It is no joke. Before shaking the hell out of it, you may want to slightly swirl it around to see the pressure build up. Also, leave enough room in your carboy cuz there is a war going on in there!! I recommend this to everyone!!March 17, 2013It works as promisedThis yeast works very quickly, and has a very high alcohol tolerance. I've never seen anything like it. Maybe Champagne yeast is the closest I've seen. I use it for making hard cider and it always comes through for me. Its done in a few days, but I give it a full week.March 8, 2013
