Browse 1 question Browse 1 question and 2 answerswhats the finished alcohol?BEST ANSWER: I made an Amarone from a different supplier a few years back that came with two bags of dextrose (sugar) and the end result was 16.5% ABV. While very full-bodied, it was quite strong on the alcohol and sweetness. Calling this a dry wine is a bit of a misstatement. Other amarones I've tried made by others were also sweet and higher in ABV.
