5 months agoNow that it has aged a littleAfter 11 months it is as described. I have shared a couple of bottles with family and they want more. It is my first born, and I can't let them leave the house. Can't wait until Christmas to open another bottle.December 5, 2016My first attempt at wine makingThis is my first kit, and i was a little skeptical of my ability to make wine, and waiting so long to see the results. I did a taste each time I got a hydrometer reading and was afraid it would turn out to oaky. Yesterday, I filtered the wine and now it is resting a couple of days before I bottle it. I was pleasantly surprised by excellent taste, knowing that it will only get better in the bottle. Either I was lucky, or the kit will make a master vintner out of anyone.January 22, 2016
