DetailsFasten Belgian Beer corks to 750 ml Belgian beer bottles after they've been inserted. The Belgian Wire Hoods come with an attractive gold plate hood. You may wish to use a wire tightener for quick tightening.
Note: Do not over-tighten, as the wire may break.

4.0 / 5.04 ReviewsLooks importedFor Belgian bottles containing Lambics under high pressure these are necessary. They hold in the cork so it doesn't slip._x000D_February 26, 2014Looks ProfessionalI used these on my Belgian Bottles and tightened them with safety wire pliers. They seemed a little loose but tightened up after the corks mushroomed with the carbonation process.September 29, 2013Works fineWorked fine. Nothing special, but I didn't have any problems with these hoods.April 20, 2013

Browse 1 question Browse 1 question and 4 answersWill these work for bottling hard sparkling cider in standard wine bottles?BEST ANSWER: It will, but not as good as one would think. It will go over and than has to be twisted on fairly tight so that it won't slip over the lip. Even at that, it will leave a little gap between the cork and the cap. If you have too much pressure, it may not hold. The pressure on mine was a slow release and would ease it out and it held good enough.
