Tip the Scales
I like to experiment with blends. Sometimes it pays off. Sometimes not. But this tipped the scales from so-so dark red to amazing.

Second time for using this.
Bought this product before and combined with other fruit bases for a wine that turned out to be my favorite and the favorite of others. The flavor is very good and consistent. Highly recommend.

Good wine a year later
One can makes a good 3 gallon wine. At first I didn't think much of it, but after a year its very good. In fact, some people thought it was a red wine. I used Pectin at the start and Bentonite at the end to clear it._x000D_

Good fruit wine base
Using this base I made a very good one gallon fruit wine. I've also added this base to other wine kits to give them a richer deeper taste. Definitely good quality.

Black currant taste
My wife and I like to make fruit wines and this concentrate makes a killer black currant wine. Use some Pectin and a filter and friends will think they are drinking a pricey high end wine.

Best batch so far
I'm still new to this and after a mixed result with my first batch, I decided to try a basic Black Currant wine. I've oaked it, periodically added additional sugar (to push the alcohol level) and I've just added just a bit of glycerine (gives it just a hint of sweetness). I'm just about ready to bottle, but as is now it is a real treat. I'm looking forward to seeing how it improves with aging. I've bought two more of these for a future batch because I have no doubt that I will want more._x000D_If you haven't tried making black currant wine, definitely make a point to do so.

Good Currant flavor
I bought this for Mead making. It gave a good taste of currants to my Mead. Its all usable, without any seeds.

makes a great fruit wine
I used a can for a 3 gallon fruit wine. It was amazing. Some friends thought it was a red wine. Give it time to mature and it tastes wonderful, with a great aroma. You don't need fresh currants, these are perfect._x000D_

Follow up at one year
Following up on my first review from last August. This wine has aged one year now and I have to say, it mellowed and is absolutely great. I just finished bottling another 6 gallons. Folks, you cannot BUY a wine like this. But I have to find a better hiding place for this great wine.
