Handy and delicious
I have made wine for several years and one of the most time-consuming things was getting fruit for the base.We live on a farm and have wild and tame blackberries but I don't always have time or energy to pick enough for wine. Vinter's Harvest fruit base is so handy and makes delicious wine.

The real deal
I ground up a can in the blender and added it to the secondary. It started fermenting and after a week I stirred it up to resuspend the berry pulp._x000D_After 4 weeks I bottled._x000D_Greta natural Blackberry tasting beer._x000D_

Excellent Product
I used two cans of this to make a blackberry melomel. It turned out fantastic. The melomel is only about a month old. I tasted it to see how it is coming along and I was very pleased with the result.

should other fruit be added

BEST ANSWER: Adding other fruit is not necessary, but it can be added, as well as additional sugar, but that is all dependent on the recipe that you are making.
