Next time you find yourself hitting the snooze button a few too many times, try this frosty breakfast protein bomb to get your day back on track. For an extra shot of fuel (not to mention flavor) I like to swap in almond or cashew butter in place of peanut butter. I may have tried it with Nutella once or twice.
- 1 cup cold brewed coffee
- 1 frozen banana
- 2 Tbsp peanut butter
- 1 scoop chocolate protein powder or sweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup almond milk
- 5-8 ice cubes – keep some cold brew cubes on hand for extra jolt of caffeine
Add first 5 ingredients to your blender and blend until combined. Then add ice cubes until the consistency is to your liking. Enjoy, and go out to conquer the world.
