I use it in my Bavarian Wheats as well as my Dunkelweizen with consistent results.August 21, 2012Great productAdds great flavor to the Nut Ale and boosts gravity.November 14, 2012Excellent DMEThis extract will help produce a very creamy tight head and aid retention without altering the flavor of your beer significantly when a pound is used in 5 gallons. I add it to most of my beers for this reason. When used as the main fermentable it provides a pleasant, light "bready" flavor. It will provide about 44 PPG.November 25, 2012March 29, 2016Good wheat DMEGood quality DME, I have used it with success in several wheat beers.December 20, 2012Good choice of DME for Wheat beersThis DME is a safe choice for those looking for wheat extract. Has a very nice but not too wheat flavor. I brewed a clone of a Wheat IPA and people say it tastes exactly the same. So you have a wheat DME that appears to be in line with what the pro-brewers use. I like this product and would recommend it to anyone who wants a nice wheat beer.April 9, 2013
